*NEW* Mountainbike Rides For All

We want the World Championships at the ‘Chuck to be for everybody.  Everybody in the Wenatchee Valley cycling and outdoor communities, at least, so for those with an aversion to racing we are offering trail rides in the vicinity of Squilchuck State Park (off the race course).  You’ll be grouped into 1 of 2 groups according to skill level and desired ride intensity, and you’ll set out with an experienced local rider to get rad on some nearby local trails and double-track.  So even if you don’t race, you don’t have any excuses now… so come on up and ride with us!

THIS WEEK: Awards & (BYOB) BBQ Night at the ‘Chuck

Every 4th week marks the end of our mini series within a series and we will celebrate with our Awards presentations and food night at the races.  Come on out with the family to ride, race or just eat and spectate.  For Awards Night in July we may hire a food truck, but for this month its BYOB BBQ: we’ll bring the grills, the accoutrements and some beverages, you bring the grillables.

Race Course

Our plan is to change the course every 4th week and keep it the same for the entire mini-series, but we reserve the right to change the course each week if necessary.  Pre-riding the course is always a good idea, and make sure you listen to any changes and/or specific hazards during the start line annoucements.

 Volunteers Needed

We rely on volunteers to make this race happen, so step up if you can!  All volunteers will get a voucher to race for free.  We will post our volunteer signup pages here at least 2-weeks in advance, and please make sure that you are on time and are ready to roll.  If you have questions or feedback, please let us know, thanks!

Parking

**A Washington State Discover Pass is required to park at Squilchuck!  The annual pass is $33 and is good at all state parks.  The ticket for parking without one is over $125 so buy the pass now.  You can purchase one online here or at certain parks like at the gate to Confluence State Park.

As always, do your best to carpool because there is limited parking at Squilchuck.

Respect and Thank Your State Park!

If you see a State Park Ranger on site, thank them for supporting bike racing at Squilchuck!

Likewise, a huge thanks goes out to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance for heading up their amazing trail building efforts at Squilchuck and throughout NCW.  Please support our local Evergreen Chapter:  Check out this video: Evergreen @ Squilchuck!
