Series Information and Event Dates

World Championships at the ‘Chuck is now on Wednesdays in September.  For those who choose to race, there will be 4 races within our series.

Series 1— Race 1: May 30, Race 2: June 6, Race 3: June 13, Race 4 (Awards): June 20.

Series 2— Race 1: June 27, Race 2: July 11, Race 3: July 18, Race 4 (Awards): July 25.

Series 3– Race 1: September 6, Race 2: September 13, Race 3: September 20, Race 4 (Awards): Sept 27.

Times, Categories & Cost

5:00-5:30pm, Registration, Pump-track party for kids, and Warm-up.  FREE.

Fill out waiver at registration table, then join us on the pumptrack or hit the trails, course will be open!

5:30-6:30pm, Mass Start Racing for kids and adultsFREE.

  • Kids Course (~20-25 min) 1-2 Short course laps.
  • Adult/Big Kids Course (30-60 min) 1-2 Full course laps.

6:45pm, free hot dog or brat for registered participants, $5 for everyone else.

BBQ and Potluck.  We will provide hotdogs and brats, you bring something to share.

Notes about Registration:

The Courses

Kids Course: Vulture Gulch and Lower Yellowjacket.  A fun and flowy course that is rideable by all but the smallest kids (approximately 1.2 miles). 1 or 2 laps.

Adult and Big Kid Course: Vulture Gulch to Lower Yellowjacket to Dark Forest to Creature Comfort (approximately 3.6 miles). 1 or 2 laps.

We rely on volunteers to make this race happen, so step up if you can!  All volunteers will get a raffle ticket for the FREE Wenatchee Valley Velo events.

Parking

**A Washington State Discover Pass is required to park at Squilchuck!  The annual pass is $33 and is good at all state parks.  The ticket for parking without one is over $125 so buy the pass now.  You can purchase one online here or at certain parks like at the gate to Confluence State Park.

As always, do your best to carpool because there is limited parking at Squilchuck.
